Hello Dave and Andy,
He sends his greetings to Flo and Mickey and, indeed, to you.
He is thriving, growing, at a rate one can almost see from moment to moment, and seems very happy in his Country Seat for the summer. He very much likes the new diet though this does not stop him trying to steal from Teddy and the cat. He will probably remain here in Suffolk for much of the time until later in Autumn but has already had short visits to London when he behaved very well which I hope, will be the pattern for the future. My plan is for him to attend our last small shoot in January as a distant observer, as a prelude to training to first assist and, later, take over , Teddy’s role on our little shoot.
He now seems to be getting on very well with Teddy (age 12 and now in his dotage) and the cat (even older but becoming friends). He is also very good with visiting children and, indeed, everyone else.
The reason why I have not been in touch to report sooner is the continued difficulty in getting him to sit still to be photographed. Poor technique on my part.
We are all, of course, infatuated with Rocky who has now become part of the family. I sometimes think that, with all the dogs that pass through your hands, there must be a slight sentimental twinge for each one when they have left and I’m very glad of this. It is comforting for us and I can assure you that we are all very happy to have him join our family.
Thank you.
Best Wishes,
Michael Welch
