I can’t recommend Countryways Gun Dogs highly enough.
From the very beginning, David and Andrea have been absolutely brilliant. Their knowledge, patience, and genuine care for both dogs and owners really shows in everything they do. You can tell straight away that this isn’t just a job for them — it’s something they truly take pride in.
My pup Axle has come on unbelievably well in such a short space of time. The progress he’s made is honestly amazing, and it’s down to the way they’ve handled him and guided me through everything as an owner too. They don’t just train the dog, they help you understand how to bring the best out of them at home as well.
Axle is happy, confident, and already showing such a great temperament, and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with how he’s turning out. I feel like I’ve been set up with the right foundations to build an incredible bond with him.

Hi David. He is settling in beautifully. He’s shocked us how fast he learns. Already pretty much toilet trained he lets us know when he wants to go out. He’s super easy to train already knows sit, come, fetch and out. The nights he’s getting much better every night. Last night he slept from 10pm all the way to 5:30 when he woke up for a toilet. Very minimal accidents in the house and the land shark has already descended. Overall he’s an incredible dog we love to pieces.
