‘Like learning to drive in a Ferrari’, was how your Dad first proudly described you. You were so very clever, a phenomenal working dog, one in a million but far more important, you were the best, most loyal and loving companion a family could ever wish for. 14.5years we’ve cherished you. we’ve love and lost many time beore but you were our first golden oldie. We’ve navigated many vets trips, countless meds and some seriously stormy waters, wondering ‘is it time?’ Today was your time my boy, you fell asleep peacefully, in dad’s arms and to the sound of us tellikng you how much you were loved and appreciated. This one has hit hard. We will never forget you Smiley Miley, you have left an indelible paw print on our hearts. Sleep well my boy, till we meet again.
