I just wanted to send a quick message of thanks a week after collecting Smudge. We are absolutely delighted with him. He has fitted right in to our family and is progressing very well with his training. His temperament is perfect and his trainability is exceptional, already walking at heel both on and off lead in the garden, toilet and crate routine sorted, he is showing a natural desire to retrieve and bring stuff to hand. When you say its all in the breeding we can see it first hand having only previously had a dog from friends with no pedigree history. We would like to thank David especially for the amount of time he spent with us chatting about dogs, we certainly felt welcome and reassured that we were doing the right thing, its difficult buying a dog at long distance! We would also like to thank Sophie for her patience with our emails. Will will keep you updated with Smudges progress and hopefully I can do the Countryways name proud in the future in some Working Tests and Field Trials.
